Newark, NJ - Wind and rain loomed large at Branch Brook Park at the Highlander Invite hosted by NJIT. A normally very quick course, was slowed slightly, but still presented a great opportunity for your Panthers to end the regular season on a high note.

Morgan Scarzafava paced the Panthers with a 4 minute season PR in the 5k.
Kayleigh Simpson battled to finish 2nd, not far behind. Season debutant,
Dhatri Sangasani was third for the Panthers, while
Giselle Campbell turned in a great performance in her first college 5k.
In the Men's race, Mike Dean led the line for the Panthers, dropping his 8k PR by almost 3 minutes.
Dylan Wang continued an impressive freshman campaign taking 25 seconds off his season best. Fellow freshman,
Harrison Matthews and
Kevin Andrews finished third and fourth for the Panthers.
Andy Tran dropped a minute off his PR in the 8k , a mark he had previously set on the same course.
Matthew Shakow in his 2nd ever race dropped almost 2 minutes off his precious mark, and
Jayden Mauceri made his season debut.
Coach Dikeman said, "It was a little unfortunate we got the weather we did, but the kids took it in stride and but some great performances out there. I'm really pleased with the PRs and the impressive debuts, it should make for an exciting championship season."
