About the Equestrian Club!
The Equestrian club is a group of students with varying levels of horseback riding experience who participate in lessons provided by JHA Riding Academy in Slingerlands, NY. The lessons generally begin in September and run into December up to finals week and are then picked up once more in February and end sometime in May. Lessons are weekly and the schedule is coordinated between the students and instructor. Other activities the club hosts are volunteer opportunities at a facility in Saratoga, NY and horse shoe painting on campus in the spring. Our mission is to allow students to find time away from their books and spend it with horses which can be very therapeutic as well as stress relieving.

We have a new vice-president elect and treasurer-elect in training currently and will take over these positions in the fall 2022 semester. The current number of members we have right now is approximately 20.
