Utica, NY - After a week of strong workouts, the Panthers took the short drive out to Utica for the SUNY Poly Wildcat Classic. With great conditions it was quickly evident that this would be a great opportunity to see some season and personal bests. "We've preached pack running this entire season," said Coach
Samson Dikeman. " Today was easily our best team performance so far, this season.
Harrison Matthews (Peru, NY) got off to a great start and was able to hold the pace to lead the Panthers. His 33:02, represented a nearly 2-minute PR. Joining a Harrison in the PRs was
Kevin Andrews (Buffalo, NY) who took over 3 and a half minutes off his PR finishing 4th for the Panthers in a time of 35:17.
Tyler Buffolino (Ridge, NY) and
Dylan Wang (Glenmont, NY) finished 2nd and 3rd for the Panthers, respectively, continuing their strong seasons while
Andy Tran (Vietnam) rounded out the scoring Panthers taking over a minute off his season best.
On the women's side,
Morgan Scarzafava (Middletown, NY) took over two minutes off her season best to pace the Panthers.
