Springfield, MA - Your Panthers headed East to Springfield to compete at the Golden Bear Invite hosted by Western New England University.  

Lucia Sushynski (Saratoga Springs, NY) continued to pace the Panthers , finishing the 6k race in 26:37. Freshman Pooja Venkatesh (Vestal, NY) dropped a huge new personal record, dropping her 6k best to 28:04. Kayleigh Simpson (Utica, NY) and Jayden Bourgeois (Ava, NY) also PR'ed, in 28:36 and 29:36 respectively. Giselle Campbell (Liverpool, NY) rounded out the scoring 5, also with a PR, finishing in 31:16. Katie Bishop  threw down the biggest PR of the day, dropping almost three minutes off her best effort to finish in 41:53.

On the men's side, Kevin Andrews (Buffalo, NY) led the Panthers running 33:01 to take 10 seconds off his best previous effort. Daniel Le (Guam) continued an impressive senior campaign running 37:19, while Rotimi Adeshina (Brooklyn, NY) took 2 minutes off his best full 8k effort, running 42:11.

Your Panthers are off next week prepping for YSCC Championships hosted by NHTI on November 1st.
