Mahwah, NJ - The Panthers opened the 2026 outdoor season in frigid conditions just across the NJ border.
Richard Serafin (Oneonta, NY) opened his 2026 campaign in the hammer throw, hitting a 34m throw and finishing 17
th in a field filled with DI and DIII competition. This mark puts him 3rd overall nationally.
Michael Plusch (Hoosick, NY) jumped 5.85m to lead the Panthers in the long jump with
Harihan Conji (East Greenbush, NY) getting his season started in the deep jumps field. Both posted top-12 marks in the USCAA.
On the women's side,
Taylor Casey (Colden, NY) continued an excellent freshman campaign, finishing the 100m hurdles in 19.32 to claim the 4
th best time in the USCAA so far this season.
Kayleigh Simpson (Utica, NY) led the Panthers in the 1500, sneaking under 6 minutes for the 4
th fastest time in the the USCAA. In the 200,
Angelina Reish (Guilderland, NY) broke 30 seconds to find herself in the top 10 on the USCAA performance list.
Giselle Campbell (Liverpool, NY),
Lily Gable (Portland, OR), and
Alyssa Boochoon (Jamaica, NY) all added their names to the top 20 national times this season.
