Utica, NY - Breaks of sun, and fairer weather in Utica meant it was a day full of opportunities to go for PRs.
Starting on the men's side,
Michael Plusch (Hoosick, NY) set a new college PR and dropped the 2
nd farthest mark in the USCAA with a 6.32m effort in the men's long jump.
Harihan Conji (East Greenbush, NY) also set a new college PR in the long jump, hitting a mark of 5.30m. In the 800m,
Daunte Wright (Liverpool, NY) ran a 2:22 to establish a new college PR.
On the women's side,
Ella O'Connell (Highland Falls, NY) jumped 1.50m in the high jump to establish a personal all-time best, and set the 2
nd best mark in the Nation. Teammate
Amanda Salisbury (Johnsonville, NY) jumper 1.55m to establish the nation-leading mark.
Kayleigh Simpson (Utica, NY) lowered her college best 1500m mark to 5:47.
Nithya Gutta (Guilderland, NY) ran 17.67s in the 100m hurdles for a new college best, good for the 3rd -best time in the Nation.
The Panthers keep things close to home with a trip to RPI this Friday and Saturday in a final tune up before conferences.
