Hired in 2018, Jonathan Woodrow is entering his 6th year as head coach for ACPHS. His first two years coaching the Panthers he was the Men's soccer head coach, but after those two seasons, he moved over to be the head coach of the Women's soccer team.
Woodrow joined the Panthers as a very successful soccer player himself. Coach Woodrow played Varsity soccer for Shenendehowa from 1992-1994. In his time on Varisty, his team won state titles in 1992, and 1994. The 1992 season being continued leading to a U.S. National Championship. In 1993, the team was named co-champions of New York State. Coach Woodrow was apart of the U.S. Olympic Development Program in 1992, followed by making the Capital District Select Team in 1993. Coach Woodrow went on to get a degree in Culinary Arts/Hotel and Hospitality Mgmt. at SUNY Schenectady (1995-1997).
Before finding his way to the Panthers, Coach Woodrow worked as a USSF "F" Licensed coach. During his time coaching the Panthers he has also coached at Clifton Park SC from 2014-2020. He then became the Head Coach for the Albany Rush from 2020-2023.
Since joining the Panthers, Coach Woodrow has helped lead the Panthers to great success. He won HVIAC Coach of the Year in 2018. He won both the Coach of the Year and Team of the Year for Panther department awards for the 2021/2022 season. Finally, Woodrow has led his team to a USCAA National Championship in Fall 2022.
Outside of coaching, Coach Woodrow currently also works as the Director of Dining Services at Unidine Corporation.
