In the opening game of the 2010-11 season, the ACPHS men's basketball team fell to the College of St. Joseph (VT) by a score of 100-80 on Sunday afternoon.
Peter Aiken and
Casey Redfern each had 13 points for the Panthers while
Zach Bratek added 12 points.
The Saints came out on fire from the field, shooting over 50% in the opening half to take a commanding 54-36 into halftime. The Panthers committed 14 turnovers in the first half. ACPHS was unable to get any closer than 12 points in the second half as the Panthers look to bounce back on Thursday night in their home opener against Word of Life.
Aiken led the team with 13 rebounds while Bratek and
Ben Sheppard each had four assists for ACPHS.
