ACPHS fell to Vaughn on Sunday in a heartbreaking overtime loss 69-61. The conference game was action packed from the tip off as both teams raced to keep the lead. Peter Aiken led the charge for the Panthers scoring 21 points and earning 12 rebounds.

Tied at 19 with eight minutes remaining in the first half the Panthers were able to jump ahead and enter the half with a 31-27 lead.

The second half was an exciting display as both teams once again struggled to keep the lead. With 15 seconds remaining in the game and Vaughn leading 53-55, Peter Aiken struck and scored to tie the game and send the Panthers in to overtime.

ACPHS hit the ground running with Casey Redfern dropping a 3 pointer to start the overtime period. Despite Redferns contribution of 18 points and seven rebounds overall, the Panthers were unable to recover as Vaughn went on a 14 point scoring spree that ended the game 69-61.

The Panthers head to Sarah Lawrence College for another conference match up on Wednesday, January 25^th.
