The ACPHS men's basketball team defeated the Pratt Institute Saturday 87-47 to go 2-3 in the Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference. 

It was Senior night and the ACPHS community gathered to celebrate the career of Peter Aiken. Aiken was joined by Coach Tynan at half court before the game to honor his commitment and contribution to the team.

It was an exciting game at the start as Pratt jumped to an early lead, despite having no subs. They led by six before the Panthers were able to gain momentum. ACPHS took over the lead with 8:53 remaining in the first half and outscored Pratt 20-3 to take them into halftime up 40-22.

Led by Casey Redfern, the Panthers offense excelled in the second half as they outscored Pratt 47-25. Redfern scored an astonishing 29 points in the game while Senior Peter Aiken scored 11 points and had a slam dunk.  Josh Lemay had 10 points, and Tamer Elias dominated the boards with eight rebounds.
