Albany, NY – The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Women's Soccer Team hosted Berkeley College at the ACPHS Track & Field on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 4:00 p.m.
The Panthers came out of the gates with a fury, scoring twelve goals in the opening half. Goals were scored by Ashley Salsedo, Sarah Cope, Katie Parsels, Kayli Smith, Veronica Arceri, Rachel Spina, Joanna Douglas and Nive Sivakumar. Berkeley goal keepers Briana Ortega and Kimberly Chorro faced 24 shots on net and accounted for 12 saves.
The Panther defense continued to hold strong in second half. ACPHS was able to add three more goals in the second half. At the sound of the final horn, the score was 15-0. ACPHS freshman goal keeper, Kennedy Rives, posted her first career shutout.
