Albany, NY – The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Men's Basketball teams faced Vermont Tech on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Albert M. White Gymnasium in their first home game following the Fall semester break.
The Panthers and the Knights came out of the gates fast and played a back and forth opening half, with ACPHS leading at half 29-17. Following the half-time break, the Knights slowed tried to crawl their way back into the game, however the Panthers playing in front of their home crowd for the first time this Spring semester would not away. ACPHS, led by a 21 point performance by Alex Johnson grabbed the victory over Vermont Tech, 57-42.
The Panthers improve their record to 3-8 and next face the Culinary Institute of America in an HVIAC matchup on Sunday, January 25 at 3:00 p.m. at ACPHS.
