Berkeley College knocks off ACPHS

Albany, NY – The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference kicked off the postseason conference basketball championships at ACPHS on Saturday, February 21. Results from the 1st day of action showcased,

2 pm - #1 Berkeley 76 vs. #4 Albany Pharmacy 59
4 pm - #2 St. Joseph's 82 vs. #3 Vaughn 71

The Panthers fell to the Knights of Berkeley in a tough semifinal matchup in the HVIAC tournament. ACPHS played well in front of a great crowd and Alex Johnson's 33 points was not enough for the Panthers to advance to the championship game on Sunday vs. St. Joseph's. 

Berkeley was led by Messiah Merritt's 19 points and 14 points from Kenton Chan-Mann. Berkeley next faces St. Joseph's on Sunday, February 22 at 2 PM at ACPHS in the HVIAC Championship.
