Men's Soccer completed their second contest of the Spring on Saturday, falling to the Bryant & Stratton Syracuse Bobcats by a score of 4-0. The Panthers are now 0-2 after returning from brief hiatus due to some game rescheduling.
Syracuse came to Albany and won this one wire-to-wire, dominating possession throughout and force the ACPHS men to stay compact and look to hit on the counter. After creating some quality chances and hitting the post twice, Bryant's first goal came off a well worked free kick where Bobcats' midfielder Jon Stublla squared a ball to defender Konstantinos Theodorakis who threaded a wonderful pass to forward Luca Natale who beat Panther keeper
Ryan Hobson at his near post. The Bobcats picked up another goal before the break, essentially putting this one out of reach for Albany. Hobson made nine saves, but the Panthers were outshot 28-0 on the day.
Albany will be right back at it tomorrow when they host Davis College at 5pm. Live stats can be found at achpsathletics.com.
