Biography

As a Sophomore: Miranda started her first collegiate cross country campaign strong, with an individual 1st place finish at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational. She finished with a time of 18:16 in the 4k to help secure a 2nd place team finish. She followed her first performance with a strong race against some great NCAA competition, where she finished 15th overall at the Maple Syrup Challenge hosted by Vermont Tech. In her first 6k, Miranda finished 5th overall, and crossed a line in a time of 26:30. This helped lead the Panthers to a third place team finish. Miranda continued her dominance in her first season again against some very tough competition, taking over a minute off her 5k time for a top-35 performance crossing the line in a time of 20:34. Miranda then went on to take home the overall individual title at conference securing her spot as the conference runner of the year. She helped propel the Panthers to the conference title. Miranda ended her season with a very strong performance at Nationals, finishing 4th overall in the USCAA. She was named to the All-American first team, which has not been done by a Panther since 2016. Miranda helped the Panthers secure 5th as a team in the nation.
