The ACPHS men's soccer team fell to SUNY-Cobleskill by a score of 3-0 on Thursday afternoon. With the loss, the Panthers go to 8-3 on the season.
With the Tigers providing pressure from the opening kickoff, at the 18th minute, Rich Feaney headed the ball into the back of the Panthers' net to put the visitors up 1-0. In the 29th minute, Aaron Gallusser scored again for Cobleskill, pushing the Tigers up 2-0 at halftime.
After a third goal by Cobleskill, the Panther offense started to click, and
Ryan Michonski (Southwick, MA, Southwick-Tolland)had a great chance to score in the 78th minute, but his shot went just wide of the net.
Adam Hoye-Simek (Broadalbin, NY, Broadalbin-Perth) made four saves in net for ACPHS, as the Panthers look toward their important HVMAC game on Saturday against Berkeley College.
