Albany, NY - The men's soccer team hosted York County on Sunday afternoon on their senior day! The team honored six seniors: Charles Casha, Zachary Ehrig, Padraig Gallagher, Cherubin Mafoumba, Zackary Murphy, and Ian Rathbun pre-game.
Those seniors went on to dominate the game. Specifically, Ian Rathbun (Queensbury, NY) who finished the game with 4 goals. Rathbun wasn't the only senior that shined though as both Casha and Murphy recorded assists to Rathbun. Even some non-seniors shined today as sophomore Michael Plusch (Hoosick, NY) scored his first goal off an assist from freshman Cole Vredenburgh (Delhi, NY).
The five goals from the Panthers is tied for the second most in a game this season, but the day belonged to Ian Rathbun. With his four goals, he has moved into the top spot for career goals for ACPHS!
The Panthers will have a week off until next Sunday when they take on the Vermont State Knights.
