The ACPHS men's soccer team traveled to face off against SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry on Sunday and neither team was able to find the back of the net as the game ended in a 0-0 tie.
In a back and forth game, neither team was able to apply consistent offensive pressure. For the Panthers,
Adam Hoye-Simek (Broadalbin, NY, Broadalbin-Perth) and
Chris Wasacz (Schuylerville, NY, Schuylerville) combined for the shutout as the Panthers were able to remain without a loss in the 2011 season. ACPHS was forced to deal with a number of injuries as at one point during the game, five starting players had to leave the field for a significant period of time.
ACPHS returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to play Word of Life Bible Institute.
