The ACPHS women's basketball team added another notch to their win belt yesterday, as they defeated USCAA opponent Vermont Tech by a score of 66-39.
Leading the Panthers in scoring were junior
Alexa Schooley with 13 points, and senior
Alyson Johnson with 12 points; while
Taylor Sullivan and
Kelsey Johnson dominated the boards with 11 and 10 rebounds each respectively.
The Knights of Vermont Tech were no match for the number one ranked Panthers who outscored them 30-13 in the first half, while also shooting 80% from the foul line.
ACPHS widened the gap in the second half and showed their versatility, with nine players contributing points towards the win.
The Panthers improve to 10-2 on the season. After a few days of much deserved rest, they face off against conference opponent Yeshiva University on Sunday, at home at 1:00pm.
