The ACPHS women's basketball team won it's fourth straight game yesterday as they defeated North Country Community College 69-44.
Sporting pink uniforms to support the
Coaches vs. Cancer program, the Panthers dominated the game from the opening tip outscoring NCCC 31-14 in the first half.
The Johnson sisters,
Kelsey Johnson (16 points) and
Alyson Johnson (15 points), led the Panthers in scoring while
Alexa Schooley (10 points and 10 rebounds) earned a double-double.
Also contributing points to the victory were
Taylor Sullivan (11 points),
Megan Serley (6 points),
Megan Phillips (5 points),
Miranda Costin (4 points), and
Kristen McKeel (2 points).
The Panthers continued to dominate throughout the second half, shooting 100% from the free throw line and 57.1% from outside the arc to cruise to victory and improve to 15-3 on the season.
The Panthers hit the road on Sunday to defend their conference win streak against conference opponents Berkeley College at 2pm.
