Panthers Fall to Conference Rivals St. Joe's

BROOKLYN, N.Y. –The ACPHS Panthers suffered a 48-67 loss in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup against St. Joseph's College on Saturday evening at Brooklyn Technical High School.  


The Panthers offense was led by Alexa Schooley's game-high 21-point, 12-rebound double-double and Kelsey Johnson's 13 points.

St. Joseph's jumped out to an early 9-2 lead but had their lead cut to two before scoring 10 unanswered. The Bears were able to score the final seven points of the half to carry them into halftime with a 30-18 lead.

The second half saw the Bears maintain control as they never let the Panthers cut the deficit to single digits. 

The Panthers, 15-4 overall, drop to 4-2 in HVIAC conference play and will face Davis College in non-conference action on Thursday, February 6th at 6:00pm at home.
