The ACPHS Women's soccer team battled against an undefeated SUNY ESF squad to a 0-1 loss on Sunday at the ACPHS athletics complex.
Despite the determination of the Panthers, ACPHS was unable to find the back of the net. Sophomore keeper, and last weeks USCAA goalkeeper of the week award winner,
Amy Jagareski played a phenomenal game in net. Jagareski turned aside 10 shots on goal to keep the Panthers within striking distance.
In the 14th minute of the game, ESF sophomore Heather Carl rocketed a shot from 30 yards out that found the upper corner of the goal which would prove to be the game winner.
The Panthers will be back in action on Saturday, September 20th at 1:00pm when
they hit the road for another USCAA match-up against Paul Smith's College.
