Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences opened up a 28-6 lead after the first quarter and went on to an 82-24 win over host Pratt Institute Saturday afternoon in Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball play.
Sarah Pacheco led five Panthers in double figures with 17 points – 14 in the first half – and
Dannie Griffin added a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Anna Bryce and Epperson trimmed the margin to 7-4 early on, but the Panthers proceeded to knock down three straight threes in an 11-0 run.
Allie Mitchell hit 3-4 from deep in the first, and ACPHS hit 4-7 from distance as a team, in opening up a 28-6 halftime lead.
After knocking down 57 percent of three-pointers in the first, the Panthers were even hotter in the second, hitting over 43 percent (33-76) overall in outscoring Pratt 38-9 after halftime. Danielle Griffin scored 10 of her 16 in the second, as the Panthers improved to 2-0 on the year.
The Panthers return to action on Tuesday, November 10 as they host Hudson Valley Community College at 6 p.m.
