Box Score Albany, NY-The Panthers Women's Basketball team squeeked out a win today as they defeated the University of Maine Augusta Moose 47-46 in the Championship game of the annual Panther Tip-off tournament sponsored by Brown Coach.
Senior
Rochelle Whitton led the team with 16 points and 3 steals while
Allie Mitchell had 9 points. Leading the team in rebounds were
Dannie Griffin with 12, and
Katie Walker with 7 rebounds. Walker, who also had 8 points, led the team in steals with 5.
With the win the Panthers remain undefeated with a record of 5-0. Sophomore
Allie Mitchell was named to the All-Tournament Team while Senior
Rochelle Whitton was named tournament MVP for her efforts in the win.
