The ACPHS men's soccer team went 2-0 on the weekend, defeating HVIAC conference opponent The Culinary Institute 7-0 on Saturday, and then defeating Bunker Hill Community College on Sunday in the NHTI Men's Soccer Classic.
Junior Striker
Zak Giorgi had three goals and two assists in the victory against the CIA Steels, while sophomore
Jack Hanlon added two goals and an assist.
Connor Laughlin and
Kyle Perry added one goal each.
Sunday's game against Bunker Hill CC saw Giorgi and Hanlon netting a goal a piece, while sophomore keeper
Matt Houlihan played an incredible game earning the shutout for the Panthers. Both Giorgi and Houlihan were named to the NHTI Invitational All Classic Team.
The Panthers improve to 4-1 and are back in action on Wednesday, September 16th as they face Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, NY at 4:30pm
