The ACPHS women's soccer team made the short trip across the Hudson River to play the Vikings of Hudson Valley Community College Tuesday at 4:30pm. The Vikings are currently ranked #8 in the nation in the most recent NJCAA women's soccer poll, while the Panthers were ranked #5 in the nation in the USCAA pre-season poll.
The Vikings struck first scoring within the first five minutes of the game as Elisabeth Morehouse dribbled past the Panther's defense to get the goal. The Panthers answered back when

Both teams would fight for possession the remainder of the game with Morehouse and Parsels each adding another goal to tie the game at 2-2. As the clock ran down the Panthers rallied and
Katie Benson fed the ball across the box to
Erin Tersegno who would score the game winning goal.
Goalkeeper
Amy Jagareski kept the Panthers in the game making some key saves in the final minutes to help hang on to the 3-2 lead.
The Panthers improve to 4-1 and will travel to Syracuse on Saturday, September 19th to face USCAA opponent Bryant and Stratton.
