Dannie Griffin (Paramus, NJ / Paramus Catholic) posted 15 points and 10 rebounds and #3 ACPHS improved to 12-3, 4-0 in the HVIAC yesterday with a 76-13 win over The King's College. The King's College fell to 2-4, 0-3 in the league.
The Panthers were all over the Lions from the start, only allowing three points in the first two quarters and going into the break up 48-3. They held The King's College to just 6-48 shooting (12.5%) and forced 34 turnovers. Every player on the Panthers scored, with Griffin making the biggest contribution. Other big games came from freshman
Lindsay Lombardo (Natick, MA / Montrose School) and sophomore
Allie Mitchell (Melrose, NY / Tamarac) who added 11 and nine respectively. ACPHS shot 34-71 on the game (47.9%), and recorded a staggering 42 points in the paint.
Next up for #3 ACPHS is a non-league matchup with SUNY-Delhi at home on Friday, February 5
th at 8pm. The King's College takes on Davis at home on the 5
th at 7:30pm.
