The ACPHS Panthers faced the Sage Gators in women's basketball tonight, and despite their efforts, the Panthers fell 43-71 to the Gators. With the win, Sage improves to 18-4 and ties the school record for most wins a season set last year. ACPHS drops to 15-4 on the year.
Senior Rochelle Whitton (Hermon, NY/Hermon-DeKalb) added nine points after making 5-6 from the line with three steals and two assists. Junior Rebecca Foote (Arcade, NY/Pioneer) had seven points and earned all seven points from the line after she made 7-of-8 shots and had six rebounds.
The Panthers return to action Sunday as they travel to Randolph Center Vermont to face Vermont Tech at 1:00pm.
