Box Score ACPHS Women's Soccer fell to Union last night 2-0. The Panthers are now 6-3-1 on the year, while the Dutchwomen improved to 5-3-1.

Sally Slowinski (Colrain, MA / Mohawk Trail) was the woman of the match for Albany, facing 32 Union shots in total and making 12 saves. The Dutchwoman's first goal came in the 30
th minute from Christine Hill, who tapped in a long cross from defender Georgia Mraz. Their 2
nd goal was scored by Katie Monahan after a corner pin-balled in front of the box but could not be cleared by the Panther defense. ACPHS' best chance to score came from
Katie Benson (Clifton Park, NY / Shenendehowa) in the 2
nd half, when her effort was saved onto the crossbar by Union goalie Allison Sorkenn. Benson's attempt was one of only two for the Panthers all game.
The Panthers get ten days to rest before they return to conference play on Saturday, October 14
th when they travel to Berkeley.
