Albany, NY - The Panthers got a big win at home that
saw some records broken in the process. In a game where the Panthers wanted to set the tone early, and quick, it ended up being a record setting performance.
The Panthers came out firing and it didn't take long into the 1st half for the first goal of the game to find the net. 18 seconds into the game,
Sahil Arora (Waterford, NY) drove down the field and was able to lock in the first goal of the game. Coming off his last game, Arora was able to record another hat trick in the first 10 minutes of the game for the second straight game. Not only did Arora get a hat trick in this game, but he finished the game with six goals that put him tied for 1st for most goals in a single game. However, he was knocked back down tied for second after teammate
Jay Carlson (Saratoga Springs, NY) recorded seven goals on the game. This performance solidified Carlson as the top spot for most goals in a single game. Carlson's first goal came in the third minute, off an assist from hometown teammate
Vincent DeVito (Saratoga Springs, NY) which was DeVito's first of 3 assists in the game. This performance by DeVito tied him for second for most assists in a single game by a Panther.
The Panthers saw a lot more goals from other positions on the field.
Ryan Prescott (Wayne, NJ) was able to find two goals himself coming up from the defensive line.
Firaas Anis (Brooklyn, NY) also had himself a great game recording a hat trick himself, as well as getting 3 assists which also ties him for second for most assists in a game.
Gavin Carvey (Cato, NY) found his first goal of the season.
Zachary Ehrig (Syracuse, NY) capped off the scoring for the Panthers with two goals himself.
After the game, Adeseko was asked what kind of momentum this game has for their YSCC Championship game rematch against CMCC. His response was "It is a game we are looking forward to, the boys always look forward to Central and the matchup. We got the win tonight, and will look to come home with the win Saturday.
The Panthers will rest up Friday and head up to Maine for their YSCC matchup against last years YSSC Conference Champions, Central Maine.
