Albany, NY - Men's soccer took on Fulton Montgomery Community College on Wednesday night under the lights.
The FMCC Raiders dominated ball control taking a total of 26 shots throughout the night, finding the back of the net for the first time about 10 minutes into the game. About five minutes later, senior Ian Rathbun (Queensbury, NY) answered by scoring his sixth goal of the season to tie the game.
Rathbun was able to get up a few more shots, but none of them were able to add to the scoreboard. The Raiders however, got very hot and scored 8 more times throughout the course of the game.
9-1 ended up being the final score for the game, moving the Panthers to 0-2-1 on the season. They'll look forward to their next match against NHTI on Sunday 9/26.
