The ACPHS Panthers came away with another win on Saturday as they beat the College of New Rochelle 86-42. This marks the Panthers first conference win of the season as their overall record jumps to 8-5.
Alyson Johnson led the pack with 16 points, five assists and 7 rebounds. The Panthers started strong as
Kelsey Johnson and
Alyson Johnson combined to score the first 12 points of the game.
The ACPHS defense was able to hold New Rochelle in the single digits for the first 10 minutes of the game. Leading by over 30 points, the Panthers entered the half with a score of 54-22.
The Panthers dominated the second half and at the end of the game had 5 players score in the double digits.
Kelsey Johnson,
Taylor Sullivan and
Katie McCormack all scored 13 points each while
Alexa Schooley had an outstanding game with 12 points, 4 rebounds and she went 4-4 from the free throw line.
