"We're all glad to be back to the hustle and grind. New leadership in the Athletics program, new season, and big things on the way for the Panthers." Women's Soccer Head Coach, Jonathan Woodrow is feeling very optimistic going into his second season at the helm. "We added a lot of new talent between last season and this one. Bright days ahead for us."

Woodrow is relying on a well-balanced team, and one that finds its leadership along the defensive spine, "we'll be relying heavily on our veteran tri-captains, goalkeeper, Gabby Evangelista, center back, Emily Linehan, and defensive midfielder Emily D'Abrosca. They hold us down on the defensive end of things." Woodrow also praised the Panther's ability to go forward, "We have tremendous talent in our attack from midfielder, Shannon Donnelly and forward,  Mayle Lupia-Eannace. 

The Panthers open competition in a pre-season friendly against the Albany Bryant & Stratton College Bobcats on Friday, August 20th at 7pm, before beginning the regular season in a replay against the Bobcats on Tuesday, August 24th at 7pm. Both matches will be played at the Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences field.
