Albany, N.Y. - The Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Athletics Department hosted their annual Athletics Banquet at Shaker Ridge Country Club on Saturday for the first time in three full years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was well ran and paid homage to all the athletes, teams, and coaches who contributed to a great 2021-22 athletics season. The event was hosted by Athletics Operations Assistant and Assistant XC/T&F Coach,
Bruin Smith, with the entire department in attendance and College President Gregory Dewey, who made a special guest appearance.
Each team handed out two awards recognizing those most deserving of a "Coach's Award" and "Most Valuable Player". The department then handed out a series of awards across all sports for Male and Female Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and the annual "Panther Award" that is passed to an individual that made an everlasting impact on the department, college and those around them throughout the school year.

The banquet was a complete success, and the department wants to continue praising the ACPHS community and all of our consistently hard-working athletes; especially the graduating seniors!
